Our small businesses and community are under constant attack by burdensome red tape. Without effectively educating Texans and streamlining the permit process to conduct business or improve property legally, we are making criminals out of our neighbors due to lack of compliance. The onus should be on politicians to promote free-market trade instead of penalizing law abiding citizens for exercising their freedoms.
It is time to cut the red tape that stops us from doing business in and with the city and state. Time is money, and the state should help, not hinder the progress of a small business caring for our neighborhoods.
